I am so excited about my favorite Bolognese Sauce recipe today!
First, let me tell the truth that my baby girl Summer made the Bolognese Sauce tonight.
It’s my recipe but Summer was in charge of cooking dinner tonight.
I was in charge of everything else but Summer makes some great sauce y’all!
It’s almost better than mine but she’s too young to receive such accolades.
I don’t want to blow her head and ego up too much just yet! lol
Speaking of my favorite daughter Summer…she’s the reason if you haven’t noticed I’ve been MIA a little from the blog and posting new recipes.
I wanted to take the time to spend with her before she went off to college so I had to take a break from work to give her my full attention.
These last few months have been hectic and I spent most of them crying because my baby ain’t no baby no mo’!
For those who follow me on social media you already know I’ve been a wreck! lol
I am better now and back to work.
BTW I need to take photos of Summer’s dorm room so you can see how beautiful Summer and I decorated it!
Luckily, Summer is all situated and she’s having so much fun at school and I am handling the empty nest syndrome better than I expected.
I finally left my closet where I spent weeks holding my beautiful shoes and rocking myself to sleep! lol
Now back to my Bolognese Sauce!
This rich sauce is loaded with ground turkey but you can use beef and I often make it with beef and veal.
If using beef don’t forget to drain the meat once it’s browned before adding the remaining ingredients.
BTW: This sauces freezes very well and Summer took a container back to the dorm because she found out Barilla makes Ready Pasta now that’s microwavable!
Enjoy!
